Welcome to Vet Nurse Direct.
My name is Chelsea and I am the owner of Vet Nurse Direct. I live in North Canterbury with my husband, our three children and two fur children (Fabian and Vinnie the Viszla!).
I hold a diploma in Veterinary Nursing and have experience in general practice, emergency nursing and shelter medicine. I have had a life-long love of all creatures great and small and have been fortunate to always have one or more pets to love and care for.
The idea of a mobile veterinary nurse was discovered when working in clinic and seeing many pets (and owners) struggle. Sometimes coming to the clinic is very stressful and the drive alone can make some pets very anxious. Caring for pets in your home provides a calm, comfortable and convientant experience for you and your pet.
