General terms and conditions.
While pets are in the care of Vet Nurse Direct, if owners are unreachable or in the event of an emergency, Vet Nurse Direct will seek immediate veterinary care for pets. All costs in connection with, veterinary, medical, or other treatment shall be the pet owner’s responsibility.
Pet owners release and agree to save and hold harmless, Chelsea Shotter and Vet Nurse Direct from all liability, claims, suits, actions, loss, injury or damage of any nature or kind, or for any liability, claims, suits, actions, loss, injury, or damage which I or their pet(s) may sustain.
Please let me know beforehand if anyone in the household has cold or flu like symptoms so that I can take precautions.
Dog walking. Please note that dogs must walk well on the lead, be up to date with vaccinations, be registered, and have no history of aggression toward people or dogs.
Cancellation policy. Life happens, so I don’t charge for cancellations. I just ask that you let me know about any cancellations as soon as possible.
Financial policy of Vet Nurse Direct
We at Vet Nurse Direct have two options currently for payment. Cash or Internet Banking
You will be provided with an invoice following your visit, payment is appreciated within 7 days. Penalties apply see below.
If payment is not made within the 7 day period a 10% penality fee per day overdue will occur.
Vet Nurse Direct Referral Rewards Programme
Referral cards are given out in new client gift packs and can be used once on each client. When passed to friends or family the card needs to be shown to Vet Nurse Direct to be eligible for the discount. $10 will be discounted from current invoice that is due from the booking that the card was presented at, the card can then be gifted to another new client to use.
Cards can be used by new clients only and the client that passed the card on, each client will only receive one discount.

Under the Code of Conduct for Veterinary Nurses, Vet Nurse Direct is unable to perform any act of veterinary surgery, make a diagnosis, or dispense medication.
Vaccinations must be administered by a registered veterinarian. As a veterinary nurse, I am not qualified to provide this service.
Any medication I administer to your pet must be:

Prescribed by a veterinarian,

Provided by the owner, and

Clearly labeled for the intended pet.
For the safety of myself, the pet, or the client, I reserve the right to cancel or discontinue services at any time.
